How to arrange photos for printing
Add your images, choose the paper size and set the number of columns and rows. Drag an image card to change its place, or use Move up and Move down with a mouse or keyboard. The grid fills left to right, then top to bottom. New pages are added automatically when the current sheet is full.
Duplicate creates another card you can move independently. Copies repeats an image in consecutive cells without adding more cards. Each picture keeps its original proportions and fits inside its cell, so different image shapes may leave different amounts of white space.
Example: six pictures on an A4 sheet
Choose two columns and three rows, a 10 mm margin and a 4 mm gap. You will get six equal cells on a portrait A4 page. Add eight pictures and the last two will appear on a second page. Review both previews before downloading your photo layout PDF.
Choose a grid or an exact print size
This tool sizes cells to the page, rather than making every picture a specified physical size. For a frame such as 10 × 15 cm, use Print a photo at an exact size. For sharper results, start with the original image and check the print resolution guide.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print the same photo several times on one sheet?
Yes. Set Copies on its card, or choose Duplicate if you want to position each copy separately. Copies that do not fit on the current sheet continue on the next page.
Why does a photo leave white space in its cell?
The tool keeps the whole image without stretching or cropping. White space appears when the photo and cell have different proportions.
Can I reorder pictures without dragging?
Yes. Tab to the Move up or Move down button on an image card and press Enter. The preview updates to match the new order.
